SB Studio is an independent, family-owned jewelry studio in Edmonton. We specialize in permanent jewelry, custom fine jewelry, engagement and wedding rings, personalized engraving, and pieces chosen for everyday wear.
For us, jewelry has always been personal. It can mark an engagement, preserve a piece of handwriting, represent someone you love or simply become the piece you put on every morning.
A family tradition spanning three generations
SB Studio founder Tanis Uzwyshyn is a third-generation jeweller with more than 20 years of design experience. She grew up in her grandparents’ jewelry store, where she learned the value of careful workmanship, honest guidance and relationships built over many years.
Before opening SB Studio, Tanis founded an award-winning stationery company. Her custom designs were carried by boutiques across North America and Europe. That work sharpened her eye for proportion, detail and personalization—skills she now brings back to jewelry.
Today, Tanis works alongside her daughters, Eve, Anna and Isabelle. Much like the family business she grew up in, SB Studio is built around knowing our clients, taking the time to answer questions and helping people choose jewelry that feels right for them.
Jewelry made personal
Our studio offers permanent jewelry, custom fine jewelry, engagement and wedding rings, personalized engraving, charms, chains and pieces in solid gold and sterling silver.
Some clients visit us with a clear idea. Others begin with a stone, a sketch, a photograph or a few words they want to preserve. We help work through the details, from choosing the right metal and chain to planning an engraving or creating a custom piece.
The finished piece might be an engagement ring, a bracelet shared between friends, a charm marking a milestone or an engraved pendant carrying a familiar signature. What matters is that it belongs to the person wearing it.
